Joyeux anniversaire Monsieur l’Artiste!!

Yup, believe or not, it was my 27th birthday on Tuesday. I guess I can no longer call myself a young’un. Three shorts year ‘til thirty? Gross.

The best thing about celebrating your birthday in the middle of the week? Getting to hit the strip club in the middle of the week and getting drunk there and hitting them again with a different set of friends on the weekend to do the same shit all over again. Holla!!

I haven’t been posting much on the blog for the simple fact that I haven’t been playing much Poker lately. The reasons are twofold:

1. Too much drama in my life. GF drama (she’s now out of the picture, I think it’s for the best) and, work drama (just getting fed up of this place, my top priority for 2007 is finding something better instead of toiling around here)

2. Well, it’s time to admit that it’s getting harder and harder to find quality games and tables going out there. The past few weeks have been so frustrating as a cash game player for table selection that I was literally questioning my involvement in online Poker. Some nights have been better than others but one starts to wonder if the Fish are gonna be putting up with this shit for long? Yeah, us degenerates, bloggers and online pros will obviously seek alternative methods of depositing money online but what about John Q American, the 40 year old blue collar schmuck who was able to somewhat sustain himself against the biggest fishes at Party Poker but was regularly padding my roll? Not only has he lost access to his site but now they’ve taken Neteller away from him too? How long is he gonna stick around now?

All we can do right now is pretty much wait. Let’s see how this thing pans out in the near future and go from there.

My January was overall a + month but it definitely has vibes of ‘What might have been’. I know I reached my target of 500$ of rakeback for the month but I’m pretty sure I failed to play 20K of LHE. NLHE? Hee, I don’t think I’ve played 500 hands this month. Oh well, nowhere to go but up I guess.

Believe it or not, I kinda missed this blogging thing, I’ll try and do a better job of playing AND writing this month.
